About the Artist- Bev Ecker

"We are never more like our loving Creator than we are lovingly Creating."

Bev Ecker has been an artist and an art teacher for more than 22 years. She has designed and painted murals for many Beaverton Schools, as well as her family's two Hearthstone Retirement Communities.

Over the past year, Beverly has been working on her line of Resin Artwork. She has created Seascape Paintings, breadboards, trays and trivets, as well as games and jewelry! She loves the ocean and helps others see the beauty of the waves in a new way.

Bev specializes in watercolor portraits and she paints pictures of the Hearthstone residents when they celebrate their 100th Birthday!

Bev has decided to sell most of the Artwork she has created over the past years to help raise money for the "Ray of Hope Skills Center and Pre-school" that she and her husband, Tom Stanton, are building in Jinja, Uganda. Some of the students from their orphanage there will be the teachers of the Computer and Sewing and Tailoring classes. New career opportunities will be created for the Community members in the Jinja, Uganda area.
